Summer is not officially over but with most kids going back to school, it sure feels like it! It's always a little hard for me to let summer go and my kids are the same way so, each year just before school resumes, we plan some kind of "farewell summer" activity. This year, we decided to put on an outdoor Sea Puppet show. We drew our menagerie on watercolor-type paper then attached them to dowels to form our puppets. For our puppet show background we used simple crab paper which you can inexpensively purchase at most places that sell crabs.
