Today I am asking my readers to join in on a conversation in the comments section below. I'm asking the question, "How do you find balance being a parent?"
I find that, being a creatively-wired person, my artistic inspiration and impulses can sometimes bully my practical side. While this allows me to devote fun time with the kids, it often means my house suffers: laundry and even sometimes the quality of our meals when I'm rushing at the last moment.
But, the creative things that I engage in: crafting, writing, playing and making silly things with the kids make me happy. Being a parent, while joyful, is also super-duper stressful at times (as you all know) and so engaging in things I enjoy is critical and helps fuel me.
Yet, I still haven't mastered the art of the balance. I'd love to know from my readers who are moms of all ages, do you ever feel like you have everything under control? How do you do it?
How do you make time for everything?
Is that even possible?
Please discuss below.
