Almost all the flashlights sold today have warning labels that read "Not Safe for Children". The made-for-kids flashlights are awesome, but for some reason (even with 4 kids in the house) we don't have a single one! One of my favorite things to do as a child was to play with my father's flashlights but I'm always nervous about letting my kids play with ours. The new high-beam energy efficient lights can be powerful stuff! So, I've found a way to make a temporary lantern that allows you to slip a flashlight inside. Then, you can enjoy some reading under the covers with your little ones! I'm over at The Southern Institute today sharing my DIY project.
